We were happy to team up with the folks at MachineryLink once again this time to revamp their website. Not only did we reskin their site to marry well with the visual look we established for their print materials, we worked hard to restructure the information in a way that made for a better overall sales message for their business.
If you've ever been on a Mastercraft boat, you'll know exactly why they have the high reputation they do. As the premiere ski and wakeboard boat manufacturer, their boats cut through the water like a warm knife through butter it's the epitome of power harnessed into a graceful, impeccably built form. And not to mention, so much fun... trust us...we've been fortunate to drive one or two in our time.
We've been working with Mastercraft Boat Company since 2004. During these four years, we have created their online presence and maintained it at a level that's revered by their diehard fans and recognized by the industry. (shameless plug: "Best Marine Site Overall" at the 2008 North American Marine Industry Web Awards). From the get-go, we dove right in getting a full, in-depth understanding of the Mastercraft audience and their business processes and objectives. Having this knowledge was crucial. Because at the end of the day, we wanted to create a website that excited people about the boats and made them come back for more. And that's exactly what we did.
Filene Research Institute's annual i3 Report is a compendium of some of the most innovative thinking in the credit union industry. The report was released at the beginning of the year and word on the street is that our new design is getting a lot of attention from the folks in credit union land.
We spent quite a few months chugging out work for our friends in Kansas City and we've got a lot to show for it. In this time, we helped MachineryLink introduce themselves to the agricultural industry in a really big way. And we mean it an oversized brochure, a giant silkscreened poster and we even wrapped one of their huge combines with vinyl graphics.
MachineryLink is a company that leases John Deere and Case IH combines to large production farmers during harvest time. To connect with the farming audience, we knew we had to get our hands dirty. So, with smiles, we put on our junk clothes and whipped out the paint. We created dozens of brushstrokes and hunted down textures and agricultural ornaments to tie the elements together.
The work has already gained attention in the industry and helped make this year MachineryLink's best ever. It has opened the door for MachineryLink as they travel to farms across the country speaking with the folks out there who are really getting their hands dirty.
What a great couple weeks! Grain Edit is one of most amazing collections of design on the web and Swink is featured this week. We are crazy thrilled.

Yes, our economy has seen better days. It can only get better from here. Our newest article, "Marketing in A Downturn: Nothing More Dangerous Than Safe" gives our thoughts on navigating trying times.

We're thrilled to have the folks at Studio on Fire up in Minneapolis printing our new direct mail piece. Looking for amazing letterpress work? They're the folks to talk to.

The MachineryLink Smarter Harvest brochure is featured in the brand-spankin' new How Magazine 2008 Self-Promotion Design Annual. As we always say, great creative starts with great clients.
