Matrix User Interface
Johnson Health Tech is all about making the world fit and healthy. They specialize in manufacturing superior, commercial grade cardio and exercise equipment for health clubs all over the globe. The task was to create the user interface worthy of their newest, state-of-the-art edition of their Matrix treadmill, the dangerous-sounding T7xe. Our approach was two fold. To design the touch screen to feel both friendly and high end, while easily providing pertinent information for runners at a glance or touch. From the easy-to-use slider options to change speed, to the fun graphic representation of the elapsed time on a course, to the built-in TV screen option, our interface proved to keep runners fully engaged throughout their workout.
The T7xe Treadmill received a 2009 Bronze IDEA Award. It's a huge honor and we’re thrilled that we were able to add a little something-something to help make that happen.
