Shared Medical Services, the premiere provider of diagnostic imaging to health care facilities, had two target markets — health administrators interested in SMS’s services and patients who wanted general information about diagnostic imaging. To better connect to these markets, SMS wanted to give their very technical product/service a more friendly face online. We kept the design simple and clean, using inviting imagery, ample white space and soothing light color palette to convey a sense of warmth and approachability — much like having good bedside manner.
