Shawn Lockyear, Strategic Partner

Shawn Lockyear has over twenty years of hands-on experience in marketing and consumer brand development. She has a proven track record of developing successful marketing programs for premium lifestyle brands across a variety of merchandise categories, including art, home decor, fashion, music and children’s products. For the past 5+ years, Shawn has worked closely with GUILD.com/Artful Home (art & fine craft), Mackenzie-Childs, Ltd. (high-end, hand-crafted ceramics), and Anthropologie (apparel and home decor) to develop and build their multi-channel businesses. Previously, she spent five years as Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of Brand Management for Pleasant Company/American Girl, where she directed all brand-related activities (including brand management, creative, product development, web & market research) for the $350 million dollar direct marketing, retail, and publishing company. Prior to Pleasant Company, Shawn spent four years as Vice President at Time-Warner, Inc, overseeing marketing and operations functions at Music Sound Exchange in New York, and Warner Custom Music in California. She also has significant experience in entrepreneurial business, beginning her career guiding two successive small catalogs companies in San Francisco to profitable operations.
